Ignite Program
Not everyone identifies as an entrepreneur, they might be doers, dreamers, thinkers, fixers, creatives, connectors, and activators. But what all these people have in common is a desire for creation and transformation. Our Ignite Program uncovers and activates emerging entrepreneurs and supports the entrepreneurial-readiness of individuals, families and communities to start their business journey.
Ignite applies the principles of place-based ‘experiential learning’ incorporating local knowledge into the learning journey. Throughout the program, the group work as teams to identify opportunities, and explore ideas that are unique to their community, and develop entrepreneurial competencies through a process of ‘learning by doing’, as well as problem-solving and discovery.
In addition, learners are introduced to the concept of entrepreneurship, orientation of their entrepreneurial ecosystem, and are provided with the tools and techniques required for new idea generation and business modeling.
Underpinning the success of the program is the creation of pop-up micro-enterprise projects that provide learners with real-world experience in establishing a small business. This approach provides a platform for teams to apply business concepts and practice interpersonal skills in a low-risk environment. Enabling them to develop an understanding and appreciation of the skills needed to run a successful enterprise.
The Ignite Program can be delivered remotely through engaging facilitated online classrooms and workspace. We work closely with individuals and groups, and alongside your team to support you through every step of the process.
Train-the-trainer options are available to organisations who would like to facilitate capacity building via the Ignite Entrepreneurship Program framework, or who require a bespoke solution.
The Ignite program is open to all women and girls, there is no previous experience required and you don’t need to come with an idea.
Just a desire to be in control of your own economic pathway and future, and the wiliness to work in a team to learn and develop ideas that will positively impact the community. Through guided facilitation and daily yarning circles, we provide a safe and supportive environment for everyone to be, learn and grow together.
