Circulanation is an independent not-for-profit organisation located in Katherine, Northern Territory.
We live and work across Indigenous and non-Indigenous cultures as facilitators and use that experience as the foundation of our work.
Closely connected to our consultancy services are Circulanation’s programs and initiatives, designed to nurture and grow the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Northern Australia.
Through meaningful and immersive programs, events and workshops, we aim to boost the entrepreneurial energy of the region in collaboration with stakeholders.
Remote Opshop Project gives pre-loved items purpose by supporting the development of independent op-shops in Aboriginal communities throughout remote Australia.</p> <p>Remote communities in Australia have take a proactive role in facilitating the creation of local op-shops. These community-driven social enterprises generate independent funding that is used to seed creative projects and new opportunities.
The Big Rivers Creative Industry Summit brings together a myriad of creative practitioners, entrepreneurs, youth, and industry organisations, to explore the future of the creative industries in the Big Rivers Region. The one-day summit is focused on the intersection between art, culture, technology and entrepreneurship, and how they connect and collide to create social, cultural, and economic value.
In partnership with Aboriginal communities, we deliver a facilitated Entrepreneurship Program Pathway. Our innovative approach builds entrepreneurial capabilities and leadership skills via an experiential learning journey, in parallel with business development services. Each phase is a building block that puts individuals and communities in control of creating their future – not just their own business.
